Terms of service

These terms cover your purchase of Lucebox hardware from this store. The store is operated by AGMI AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Lucebox", "we", "us"). Ordering means you accept these terms.

Orders and pricing

Prices are in US dollars and include worldwide shipping. Your order is paid in full at checkout and becomes a contract only when we send you an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, if there is an obvious pricing or description error, if payment cannot be verified, if we cannot lawfully export to your destination, or if the order looks fraudulent.

Machines are produced in batches. Shipping estimates shown at the time of order are estimates, not guaranteed dates, and a delay is not grounds for a claim beyond your right to cancel and be refunded in full before the machine ships.

Editions

The Developer edition includes the machine and Lucebox Engine, which is open source and free to use. The Business edition adds 12 months of Lucebox Engine Pro, onboarding, help running your own models, and direct support. Engine Pro after the included period is a separate subscription, and its terms come with it.

Returns, cancellations and warranty

Cancellations before shipping, returns within 30 days of delivery subject to a 25% restocking fee, and faulty machines are all covered by our refund policy. Every machine has a 3-year warranty on parts and labor, described in the same policy.

Software and your own models

Lucebox Engine is licensed under its own open source licence, which governs your use of it and is not changed by these terms. The machine is yours: you get full root access, you can install what you want, and you can run your own models. Doing so does not void the hardware warranty, but we are not responsible for software you install or models you run, or for the results they produce.

Acceptable use and export

You are responsible for using the machine lawfully, including any laws that apply to the models and data you run on it. You confirm that you are not located in, and will not re-export the machine to, a country or party subject to US export restrictions or sanctions.

Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud. Beyond that, our total liability for any claim connected to a machine is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits, lost data, lost model weights, or downtime. Keep your own backups of anything that matters.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, and the courts there have exclusive jurisdiction. If a court finds any part unenforceable, the rest stays in force.
